After a few years learning how to play and studying drums on my own, I realized that I needed to take lessons with a private teacher so I could improve my technique and deepen my knowledge on drums.

I first started taking lessons with Francis in 2016 and I only stopped because he moved to Los Angeles. During the time I was his student I acquired a wealth of knowledge on drums, music in general, technique, about being a heavy metal drummer, about the metal music scene and many other subjects that were beyond just learning and improving on drums. Being his student also gave me many opportunities as a drummer, he introduced me to many musicians and he recommended me for auditions.

​I feel that during the time I was his student I evolved a lot in technique and musicality, in a short period. In addition, the lessons were always fun and he kept encouraging me to play and practice.

Being Francis’ student was an excellent experience. I believe I had an incredible teacher, probably the best one I could possibly have, and I undoubtedly learned a lot from him. I recommend his lessons to everyone who wants to study drums with a great friend and teacher.
